Firewood

The Demand for Firewood

The demand for firewood has increased over the years primarily due to the rising costs of gas and alternative fuels.

The trees that do not fit lumber mill grade are saved, cut to length and split to be used for firewood.

Our process of splitting firewood is unique. Admiral Tree Service uses an impressive automated system for splitting firewood. A massive firewood processor cuts the log to a desirable length, and then splits the log into manageable pieces. These pieces then travel up a conveyer belt where they are then loaded into a breathable, nylon sack that is fixed to a pallet. The sacks hold approximately 1 face cord.

The pallet is then delivered to your home and placed wherever you desire for accessibility. The sacks create a 'no mess-no stack ' system for you. You can remove pieces of wood from the sack when needed.

Additionally, our sacks of wood are species select. Meaning, if your preference is cherry wood, your sack will contain all cherry wood.
